Saniceramic Group’s large format receives the recognition of a prestigious jury made up of some of Spain’s most renowned architects and those responsible for the country’s main construction companies.

Arklam Super Size has received the NAN Architecture and Construction Award 2018 for being chosen as the best material in the category of flooring and cladding. This recognition takes on special importance according to the jury in charge of selecting the winners. A jury that is appointed by the Consejo Superior de Arquitectos de España (CSCAE) and that in this edition has been made up of 14 architects with a brilliant professional career, such as Rafael de La-Hoz, Teresa Batlle, Carlos Ferrater, Ignacio García de Vinuesa, Jerónimo Junquera, Mark Fenwick, Diego Rodríguez, Jose María Tomás-Llavador, Enrique Álvarez Sala, Tristán López-Chicheri, Jesús Aparicio and Patxi Mangado. Along with them, the heads of the country’s main construction companies, such as Juan Elizaga (Ferrovial), Antonio Muñoz (OHL), Jordi Garrigó (FCC Construcción), Guillermo Muñoz (Dragados) and Ricardo Cortés (Seopan), were also responsible for assessing and deciding on the best products and materials.

Organised by the Nan Arquitectura y Construcción magazine and its publishing company, the TPI Group, a total of 227 candidatures with a high level were submitted to the twelfth edition of the awards.

The awards ceremony was held last Thursday at the Gran Teatro Bankia Príncipe Pío in Madrid. Belén Navarro, Head of Product and Marketing at the Saniceramic Group, was in charge of collecting the precious statuette, which confirms Arklam Super Size as a material of exceptional performance to cover all types of surfaces.

The NAN Architecture and Construction Award 2018 joins the Export Award of the Chamber of Commerce of Castellón and the distinction CEPYME500 as one of the 500 Spanish companies that have contributed most in the last fiscal year to the economic growth of the country.
